From the moment that you first read our submission

You must have had quite some work

And you read and you choose and matched only the best

Year after year, with custom and tradition

How would you know- as spring becomes fall

When we walk into the school

And begin that new journey

That you have found such a smart little group?

And you watch us grow,

Our red faces and nervous jitters

Our heads hung high- we march to our sites

You try to make it easy; you give us a gentle throw

Some of us stumble, some of us fall

And to get to today, you know you have to ball

But from the soup kitchens to the five star hotels

The symposiums and hospitals,

From kidneys to beans

We’ve covered it all!

And none of us knew that we would find such a time!

Lots of late hours, lots of --

And, “gosh I know I have that assignment somewhere…”

But in the end – it is a surprise to look back

Not even imaginable – the loooong road back

It’s really come down to our own nack!

Now hats off to you, Dr. Martin

Because you knew – you read and you choose

Tried and true

We realize we owe it all to you

Your late hours and your endless work

Have made such an impression

And a goal to work toward!

We Thank You and hope we’ve made you proud.
